As part of the Safe Step difference, the stairlift includes free, professional installation and power outage protection. It can travel up to 20 trips if the power goes out.
Indoor Stairlift
Our lifetime warranty covers all parts of the indoor stairlift, including:

- Pinion gear
- Circuit Boards
- Track
- Chair
- Footrest
- Track Brackets
Indoor stairlift batteries come with a two-year warranty, ensuring reliable performance and uninterrupted use.
Who Is Covered
Only the original purchaser is covered under Safe Step’s Lifetime-Limited Stairlift Warranty.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover shipping costs, outside modifications, damage caused by misuse or alterations by anyone other than the dealer.
Outdoor Stairlift
Safe Step’s weather-resistant outdoor stairlifts feature an anodized aluminum rail, a protective coating on the circuit board, a heavy-duty canvas cover and more, to keep them running smoothly.
The outdoor stairlift’s drive train is covered by a three-year warranty, which includes:
- Motor
- Pinion Gear
- Track
- Gear Rack
Parts, such as the chair and footrest, are covered under warranty for two years. Batteries are under warranty for one year. The battery must be protected in an enclosure to qualify for replacement under the warranty.
